About Sarah:

It is time to believe in yourself! I am one of those fortunate people for whom school comes easily. I enjoy helping others to realize their own potential and learn the tools that will guide them towards success. I have taken many classes in my high school and undergraduate career that give me a well-rounded approach to learning. I believe the best way to learn is by teaching someone else the material. I want to empower students to believe in themselves and trust in their abilities. Tests and papers create anxiety around school, which counteract study efforts. When you are anxious, you cannot think clearly and recall all of the material which you studied so hard for. I will work with you to ease that anxiety and approach testing with confidence and relaxation. I have a heavy background in psychology, but I have also taken many biology and chemistry classes (my minor was biology). I am good at math, especially statistics. I enjoy learning and want to pass on that excitement. School does not have to be difficult. I have tutored fellow students (graduate school included) and enjoy watching the face of someone who just realized they understand the material. I am here as a tool for you. I want to help you learn and develop your study skills. As you increase the tools you have in your toolbox, your ability to succeed will increase.
