I have worked in Paris, France as an animator. There, I did 3d animation for television spots, two of which aired in the US. I spoke French in an office setting on a day-to-day basis to get work done.
I taught a high school summer course in animation at Explorations senior program. Additionally, I worked as a teacher's assistant for three years as an undergrad, taking a very active role in teaching and evaluating course work (not just sitting there grading all day like some TAs in math and science departments).
I'm very knowledgeable about the fine arts aspect of animation, and am currently doing freelance work for various animation clients. I am also very good at the technical side of things, which is a must for my field. I've been doing web stuff for around ten years (since middle school for me), on the side.
I look forward to working with a student who is interested in any of these topics!
