About

Hello, my name is Nancy. I have recently graduated from Springfield High School in the top 10% of my class. Subjects that I have been very strong in are biological sciences and social studies. I play the clarinet and have won many awards at contests. I am also involved in many extracurricular activities at school. I am a member of the Scholastic Bowl Team, WYSE Team, French Club, Environmental Club, and Jazz II. I was the President of the technology club, SITE, and the secretary of the National Honor Society. I plan to attend SIU Edwardsville in the fall, and will major in Biological Sciences with focus on Medical Science and minor in French. I hope to get accepted to their dental school with hopes of becoming an orthodontist. I love tutoring to anyone that needs help, even if I may have some trouble with the subject myself. I am a hard worker and a fast learner. I will learn the material with the student and try to incorporate many fun activities with the lesson. I know that many people are not fond of being tutored, but I believe that it is always okay to ask questions, no matter how stupid it may seem. I usually like to go over the material being taught before officially teaching the subject. My teaching style usually incorporates some writing, but are mostly opinion-based depending on the subject. I like to interact with the student and tell them stories so that they may be able to remember the facts better and faster. |
