About Xu:

Hi! I am a recent graduate of Fort Myers High School who will be attending Dartmouth College in the fall. During the summer, I am looking forward to tutoring anyone in any level of mathematics up through single-variable calculus. If you are taking tests like the SAT or ACT, or if you are in need of help in college classes, or even if you just want to get a head start during the summer and sharpen up your math... I'm here to help.

I have been praised for my strength in mathematics throughout high school. I have scored a perfect 800 on the math SAT (my SAT score is 1540), and I have scored a 5 on AP Calculus. I have extensive problem solving experience from math competitions; throughout high school I have consistently placed in the top 10 finalists at regional and state competitions, including a 1st place at nationals in 2006. I have also been designated as one of the Sunshine State Scholars in Mathematics and Science.

I strongly believe in one-on-one interaction in tutoring. I have tutored mainly friends and classmates since junior year in high school, and I have begun to help elementary school kids and college students a few months ago.
