My name is Hazel and I was born in 1983. Although I am fairly young, I have many years of tutoring experience.
I attended school at Georgia Tech (Atlanta, GA), where I studied Biology. I am currently studying at the University of Oklahoma (Norman, OK), where I am applying for Law School next year.
I specialize in working with High School aged kids that speak English as a second language, but I also work with adults and young children.
I also specialize in tutoring students preparing for college and for the SAT and ACT. I scored a 28 on the ACT my FRESHMAN year of High School. I did not take it as a junior or senior because I attended an East Coast college that required the SAT. (yes, I did very well on the SAT too.) *smile*

I also have a very strong background in foreign languages and a very strong background in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
My best teaching technique is being patient with my students. I am a very loving and kind teacher, but I am also very focused and do not tolerate student laziness.
