About Chris:

Hello! I am a graduate of the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, CT. I studied Jazz guitar and left with a degree in Music Production and Technology in 2006. Currently, I reside in the West End of Hartford and I am willing to travel to most places in the Hartford area for lessons. I've been giving lessons for about two years now and would be happy to provide references of current and past students if interested. With my students I like to start with a basic understanding of music theory and harmony. From there we often work on chords/scales and other essential music knowledge that will help further the students ability to work on songs that they want to play. I encourage my students to bring music that they want to learn to lessons because it provides a great starting point to applying the concepts we learn in lessons to songs we enjoy playing.
