My name is Kelly L, Grigus and I am currently a 7th grade Reading/English Language Arts Teacher. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in English and continued on to National-Louis University to obtain my Type 09 - Teaching Certificate. I am a full time teacher and a mother. I have a sincere passion for teaching others and offering them the opportunity to learn with student-centered activities - not lecturing. I use hands-on lessons and real-life connections to the material we are covering. What better than to be able to connect a lesson to the life the students live outside of school.
