About Chris:

I am a purchasing professional with an extensive background in science and math. I worked 10 years as a professional chemist doing biotech production and research and development. Deep down, I always knew I was a good teacher. I enjoy it, and I want to make people feel comfortable discussing any level of understanding. As long as you are willing to learn, I promise you I can find a way to teach it to you. I'm not a professionally trained educator, but I've helped numerous nephews, nieces and adults with thier math and science. I have also taught college chemistry for one year. There is no magic to learning. You have to have some ambition and an open mind to accept that nothing is easy. I can't make learning easy, but I promise to make it EASIER. I don't have any special secrets or tricks, but I finished in the top of my highschool class, got a 32 ACT, and have succeeded in professional life. I come from a background of excellence in sports and academics. I once received the Army's award for scholarly athlete of the year. As with sports, learning a subject takes practice. I can give you the framework, but you have to do the drills on your own when possible. You can trust I'll give you my best, in the hopes that you will be able to share with others some day. I am happy you are looking for help, even if you don't select me as your choice of tutor. If there's one thing life has taught me, its that people are there to help, but you have to be willing to expose yourself and ask the right questions.
