About Jamie:

Since obtaining my Masters in Teaching degree 5 years ago, I have been working as a mainstream elementary school teacher in the public school system. For the past 5 years, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students; including children from different cultural and economic backgrounds, gifted children as well as children with learning disabilities, special need and behavioral management problems. As such, I am able to successfully reach all types of learners and adjust my teaching style to fit different learning styles, different student needs and different temperaments. My primary classroom experience is with 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students, but over the years, I have worked with children of all age groups - from preschool to high school. I love my job as a teacher and enjoy spending time with children. I look forward to tutoring students one-on-one over the course of the summer.
