Greetings!
I am currently a graduate student in American cultural history preparing for my Ph.D. comprehensive exams. I have an undergraduate degree in history and English, and have spent several years teaching undergraduate and graduate history courses for several colleges and universities in the area. While an undergrad, I served as an academic writing and reading tutor for younger students (mainly grades 2 through 4). I would categorize my teaching style as casual with a touch of humor. From my own experience, students learn best when they are having fun, and I hope to create such an environment in my own tutoring sessions.
