About Kathleen:

Hey! I'm Kathleen! I have about ten years experience in Spanish. I lived in Mexico for 4 years and I studied translation and interpretation of French, German, Spanish, and English. While a student in Mexico I tutored Mexican students in English and Spanish grammar and while living in the US I taught private classes of Spanish grammar and literature. As a part of my major I was required to take various classes in morphology, sintax, phonology and phonetics. My current GPA is 9.5 out of a possible 10.0. In high school I took 8 art classes including: sculpture, basic drawing, figure drawing, and mosaics. So, I am confident in my drawing theories and abilities. My teaching style is very hands on. My students are expected to do homework assignments to reinforce their newly learned abilities. I enjoy playing games and doing hands on activities to further grammar and vocabulary. I use props and field trips as tools to further the learning process.
