Dear Potential Customers: I am currently a Computer Science University Student, getting ready to enter my Senior Year. Thus far, I have been on the Dean's List every semester and have been involved in Student Life activities on campus. I am a very organized student as well as a very patient and experienced tutor. I started tutoring in 2001 for two children with learning disabilities, helping them with all subjects in elementary school through early high school subjects. I always make my lesson plans according to how I believe the child will learn best. My previous lesson plans for a child with A.D.D. included: - Fun worksheets I have prepared myself - Keeping a consistent schedule so that the students did not have to adjust to any drastic changes - Maintained eye contact - Gave out one task at a time (ie) One section at a time to study in order to keep them more focused and encouraged and more.. I always detail all my plans around the individual because I truly care for the educational achievements a child can obtain. I always give out encouraging words to my students to ensure they find the rewards in learning.
