Howdy! I'm a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University with a BS in Biomedical Science and a Chemistry minor. I will be working in the Cy-Fair school district starting this fall as a science teacher. I've been tutoring students for over seven years in math, English, and science. In addition, I've taught college level general chemistry while at Texas A&M. I've also been a part of A&M's supplemental instruction program for the past three years, in which I assist at-risk students with the material they are having trouble with and appropriate study skills. I have experience working with all ages of students, and have had great results in the past. I would love to help you not only excel in math, science, english, or softball, but also help you to love these subjects as much as I do. I feel that in helping, I can offer fun ways to learn the material and help you study properly. I truly enjoy tutoring and would love to help anyone I can! I realize that not all students learn the same way, so I will teach you and help you in a way that works best for you.
So far as softball goes, I played fast-pitch softball on Long Island, NY for over 13 years. I received pitching lessons from a professional softball instructor for multiple years. I can help with pitching, hitting, and fielding.
On my ACT, I received a 30, so I am also willing to help you study for that. I'm a whiz at grammar - I got almost a perfect score on the grammar section, and did quite well on the math and science sections, as well. I know plenty of study techniques for this test, and I also am able to offer my assistance with the material. |

I took biochemistry 410 and 411 (both semesters of biochemistry) at Texas A&M, and I did well in them. They were required to graduate, which I did this past month with a BS in biomedical science and a minor in chemistry (A&M). In addition, I passed the TEXES content test in composite science with a very high score, which certifies me to teach any science class. In addition, I've tutored both chemistry and biology at A&M, both on my own and through the supplemental instruction program at the university. Biochemistry is a combination of the two, so I am well versed in it. All of my students have shown a great improvement after working with me.
