The field of science is a very fascinating one in my view, and I am sure many others share my sentiments. The Biological Sciences are of great interest to me and they have captivated me enough for me to yearn for a career in such a field. I enjoy being able to apply science to everyday life and I believe that my enthusiasm, education and healthy personality make me suitable for any position in Biology, any other science, and many other areas as well.
Any opportunities in science are of great interest to me. I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude, with a 4.00 GPA and a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences with a Chemistry minor from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). I have a great deal of laboratory experience and leadership positions. I have taken extensive courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Physiology, Genetics, Writing, and Computer Studies. These have been heightened by my experience as a reporter and writer for my country’s leading newspaper, a laboratory technician for my country’s leading manufacturing plant, and a stint as a nurse’s aid at the Longevity Center for Chronic Disease, in my native Barbados.
I also believe that I am very disciplined as I was able to maintain a 4.00 GPA throughout my collegiate life while being a full-time NCAA Track and Field athlete for UTEP's Athletic Program.
