About Derek:

I have tutored dozens of students over the past ten years in several subjects, particularly Latin. I have worked for tutoring programs as well as freelance. I already have my B.A. in Greek, Latin and Classical Civilizations; I also have taken a number of graduate courses in Greek and Latin at Fordham, NYU, CUNY and Columbia in New York. In college, I was President of the Undergraduate Classics Association for two years; I also had several translations published in a journal. I started Latin and Greek in high school, where I also participated in the Classics Club. I have tutored a wide range of students: students in public school, private school, inner city Boston, the suburban area, international students, etc.
