Sarah: |
|
Hi my name is Sarah. I am a 27 year old, smart, caring, compassionate, responsible, smart, detailed, professional individual. I grew up in the bay area, and currently live in the Richmond/Seacliff neighborhood in SF. I graduated from CSU Hayward in 2005 with a BA in Liberal arts, and my Multiple subject teaching credential. I currently teach public school in SSF. I have worked with many students from different backgrounds and learning styles/needs. I was a ballerina for 16 years. I have taught sports and dance since I was 17 years old to students ranging from 3-18 years old. I believe in touching the lives of each and every child I meet, giving them the confidence to pursue everything and anything they set out to do! I would love to be a positive, professional influence and example for your child, while providing them the best educational support for all their academic needs! Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

discrete math

As an elementary school teacher, I strive to teach mathematics in new and interesting ways. I do alot of group work and hands on activities using manipulatives. Mathematics was difficult for me as a young student so I have made sure that I incorporate every learning modality in each and every lesson. I have access to alot of resources from my classroom that I can bring into my tutoring sessions!

I am currently a Second Grade public school teacher. I have experience teaching students ages 3-17. I taught preschool through college, and have been teaching dance since I was 17. I am very good at explaining things in a way that is easy to understand, and if you are not getting it, I will come up with other ways and examples. I am very patient and have a positive, upbeat personality. I deal with different learning styles and personalities everyday.

grammar
|
Again, being a elementary school teacher, I teach grammar everyday. I strive to teach it new and interesting ways, using hands on learning centers and activities. I teach grammar in a systematic way, making it easy to scaffold learning and instruction one lesson after another.
