I got a perfect score on my Math SAT.... I believe you can too!
If you want to stop trying to memorize your way through math and science classes and start truly understanding how math and science work, call me! I thrive on my ability to help students of all ages "connect the dots" in their minds. When your logical reasoning ability improves, so will your math and science test scores!
In high school, I earned just about every math and science related award I was considered for. I was the captain of our 4-county math team sophomore, junior, and senior year, and also the highest scoring team member. And as my profile title mentions, I earned a perfect 800 on my math SAT.
I went on to study Industrial Engineering in college. My coursework included Calculus 2, Calculus 3, Differential Equations, Physics 1, Physics 2, Chemistry for Engineers, Mechanics 1, and Mechanics 2.
After college, I worked in the industrial engineering field for 5 years. This is where I truly gained an understanding of my gift for teaching. Much of my time was spent educating factory employees in math & science related matters. I was also frequently asked to speak at seminars and training conventions.
I left engineering two years ago to become a real estate agent. My husband and I have decided to start a family and I needed a more flexible career. Of course, with the housing market slow down, I have a little more time on my hands! I truly miss being able to help people reach their full academic potential and hope you will consider me in your search for a tutor! |
