About Amy:

Help me fulfill my dream and yours. My dream job is to be an algebra teacher someday. I currently work at the Boeing Company as an engineer. I have a background in computers and math and would love to share my education with someone. I obtained my bachelors in Computer Engineering from Tulane University in 2002 with minors in both business and math. I then started working and got my masters in Software Engineering part-time. I'm not your typical engineer and that's one reason why I think I would make a great tutor. I've been involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program as a mentor, so I am good with children. I was a teaching assistant in college which has given me a chance to work with other students. I'm a visual learner myself...so I give the students a chance to work on their own and find ways to help them improve and understand the problems. I do not do the work for them. I will be successful when they are successful. So let's fulfill our dreams together -- I get to teach and you get to improve your grades.
