Graduating from UCLA with a degree in English, I have always been in love with literature, culture, and languages. Since writing is an essential part of the major, I have extensive experience in writing papers and essays. I have also studied French in high school and Spanish in college. I have worked as a teacher's assistant at Montessori School teaching 1st grade. I have also tutored in various subjects like English, writing, language arts, religion, earth science, history, math, and literature in the elementary, middle, and high school levels. My travels abroad have not only supplemented, but enriched my 10-year teaching/tutoring experience. Although, I love the energy of the classroom environment, I find one-on-one tutoring to be most rewarding, since I can focus on individual needs and bring out the best in the student. This, in turn, brings out the best in me as a teacher.
