About Sarah:

My name is Sarah, and my life has always revolved around the arts. When I was eight years old, I had the good fortune to win a talent contest in Columbus Ohio. The award was a two year summer camp scholarship to the Columbus College of Art and Design. There I learned that I had a real desire for the arts. Throughout my school years I had some private tutors and would always make sure I was enrolled in art classes at school. In the eighth grade, I was accepted to the advanced art class, and then in eleventh and twelfth grades I was able to participate in the AP class for which I was given college credits. During my junior year of high school I was given the honor of attending The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts Honors Program. I graduated that program and after graduating high school, I entered into college as an art major. I now have my Bachelors of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in printmaking, from Brigham Young University. I have won many awards throughout the years including second place in Charleston's Annual Exhibiting Member show at the Waterfront Park.
