About Evon:

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Spelman College in 3.5 years with a degree in Psychology. I then completed 2 years at UCLA School of Medicine before deciding teaching was my true calling.

I am an eighth generation educator in my family with the majority of my relatives retiring as principals. I have loved school, especially math and the sciences, all my life and want to share this passion with the next generation. Academic excellence has always been defined for me as simply doing your best. I think this should be the definition of academic excellence in the classroom.
