My name is Sarah Geist and I am a mathematics major, education minor at SMU on mathematics and general scholarships. I graduated from Arapahoe High School in Littleton, CO, in 2007 with an un-weighted 4.0 GPA. I performed very well on the SAT Math section, the SAT II Math II subject test, AP Statistics, AP Calculus BC, and AP Chemistry exams. I tutored for the math and science departments in my high school, and did volunteer tutoring throughout high school for math and chemistry courses. I understand that everyone learns in a different way, and I have found that I am able to determine an individual's personal learning style quickly and tutor/teach them in the way most advantageous to the student.
