I am a very student friendly tutor. I have extensive knowledge and experience in the social sciences, including: Government, political science, psychology, sociology and social work. I will attempt to be very flexible in the areas of hourly rate and when and how often we can meet.

I will help you understand your learning weaknesses and we will develop a learning plan that includes improving study habits, grades and test scores.

I will also assist you in the areas of reading comprehension, English, math such as alegbra, geometry and basic math. I can also assist you in the hard sciences such as chemistry and biology but will feel more comfortable in my assistance with you as I take some refresher courses in science. I am being honest with you as I can only help you if I share my limitations too. I think you will appreciate my passion and desire to help all students meet and exceed their academic goals.

  I have taught ESL in the United States and abroad. I completed a TEFL course in Prague, Czech Repbublic and taught for an academic year in Estonia. Today I teach Englsh and ESL to private students and via webcam to students in Asia. I minored in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at CSUS and next semester I will begin the TESOL graduate program there. I speak Russian fluently, but I am also well versed in the communicative approach to language teaching, and I have successfully taught students of diverse linguistic backgrounds.
