About Danielle:

Hello! My name is Danielle! I just completed my first year at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Butler is a very prestigious private university in Indiana, and is known for the high standards it sets for admission. I ended my freshman year on a great note, with a 3.8 GPA. I opted to take a year-long English course during the year in order to really develop my reading, writing, and public speaking skills. English has always had a special place in my heart and I have never recieved any grade lower than an A in any English Classes. In high school, I was in an English Honors course my sophomore year, along with take Advanced Placement English my Junior and Senior years. I love being around people, helping others, and would choose to sit outside and read everyday if I could. If your child is having trouble in English, I would be more than willing to help him or her out. I have the most experience working with Elementary-aged Children!

More On Danielle's Subjects:

  • proofreading

Having taken many English courses throughout my educational career thus far, I feel I am very competent in my proofreading skills. While taking honors and advanced English courses, there have been many opportunities for me to improve and develop the skills necessary for proofreading. I have spent a lot of time proofreading not only my work, but the work of my peers. In highschool we were required to peer conference over our papers a minimum of five times per semester and recieved extra credit for each one that exceeded five. As I progressed into college, we often read our papers aloud in class and would spend the entire hour and a half reviewing and editing one or two essays. Having been a part of such detailed conferencing, I feel as though I am able to explore papers better and find not only grammatical errors, but ways that would enhance the paper tremendously.
