anatomy
|
Medical school demands a detailed understanding of anatomy. Having learned it well through dissection and class work, I can help you break down each part of the body to make it logical and memorable. The location of anything in the body is related to its function, and to embryology. By understanding that, anatomy will make sense.
I am also ready to discuss the importance of these details in the clinic. This way, your new anatomy knowledge will stay with you.
I'm happy to teach anatomy to anyone from elementary schoolers to fellow medical students.

biochemistry
|
Biochemistry has been important to my studies throughout college, research, and medical school. I earned high grades in Biochemistry, Advanced Topics in Biochemistry, and Chemistry Seminar during college. Afterwards, I served as a teaching assistant for Biochemistry, where I became fluent in explaining even the toughest concepts. Also, I did research at the University of Arizona, where I gained in-depth knowledge about proteins. At the end of college, I received the American Institute of Chemistry Student Award. In medical school, I learned about biochemistry with a clinical emphasis. I have had the opportunity to learn biochemistry very thoroughly—both for the lab, and for the clinic. That’s why I’m ready to make biochemistry understandable and memorable for you, whether you are in high school, college, or graduate school.

physiology
|
I am a Physiology Enthusiast. In medical school, I’ve learned the subject in great detail. Physiology stays fresh in my mind for two reasons. First, I find it interesting. (After we’ve met, you will too!) Second, I know how to approach this topic to learn it well, and I want to show you. By the way, I’ve studied physiology on my own since middle school. Through high school, I participated in state-level science competitions, where I received awards in physiology every year. So I’m familiar with the topic, and I believe that students can learn it at any level. I’m eager and ready to work with students at any level from elementary school through medical school.
