I am a man in my 40s and tutoring is my FULL TIME JOB; and I truly feel I have more experience working out math problems than most tutors and though other tutors may be cheaper, I am more efficient due to my experience and explanations. I have a degree from UCLA in mechanical engineering; my math skills are what got me through it. I was always a top math student in high school and college, and I am able to patiently show students more than one way to solve most problems. I get along well with younger people and am able to connect in order to explain math, which I know many students do not like. I was a full time high school math teacher and left that because my math tutoring business in the Los Angeles area became so busy due to my success with students. I have moved to the Northern Virginia suburbs to be near my family again. References upon request. I can tutor all high school math including calculus, pre-calculus, trigonometry, geometry and Algebra Iⅈ plus SAT, GRE, ACT and other standardized test preparation. |
