I am a recently graduated college student with a degree in Marketing. In my senior year of high school at Townsend Harris High School, I received a 760 in SAT Math and a 5 in the AP Calculus exam. I have tutored precalculus and calculus at Baruch College for four years and have interacted with hundreds of students. I've helped many of them go from averaging C's in the class to ending the semester with B's and A's. Repetition is key in comprehending any subject, and that is even more so true in mathematics than anything else. I make sure my students fully understand a topic before moving ahead, and I review subjects previously covered to make sure they still remember what was done in the last session. Most importantly, I care very much for the students I tutor, and I usually develop a friendship with them. I've always been highly requested at the tutoring center at Baruch College because of my friendly approach and enthusiasm to help, and I get a lot of regulars that come to me once or twice a week.
