I am a licensed high school math and music teacher with 8 years teaching experience and 13 years tutoring experience. I have a Master's Degree in educational techniques and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Music. I am very outgoing and have fun while doing math; I think this makes the math more accessible to students. I like to have students explain and justify their thinking this proves to me and also to themselves that they actually understand how and why the math works. I find that students become more confident in their mathematics during tutoring and this makes them better problem solvers and better overall math students.
