About
Noah: |
The world around us is changing. The only way to understand what is going on in the U.S. and around the world is to look into the prophecies of the Bible . Many are anxious about the future and rightly so. Only by grasping what the Bible REALLY says can we have confidence about tomorrow and live a better life Today! My expertise in Religions and my work as a teacher/translator have served to put me in contact with many cultures and ideas about these so-called "last days". I am also currently serving as a full-time 'pioneer' minister. |

Noah's Experience:
Bible studies
|
I have both taught and been a student of the Bible for over 15 years.
Although not a Greek or Hebrew scholar, I am familiar with many of the terms and tenses of both languages.
I especially like to deal with Prophecy, where you have Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Revelation and the "minor" prophets.
I am finishing reading the Bible for the 3rd time and looking forward to starting again.

elementary (k-6th)
|
Even though I want to teach Math at the higher levels of the Public Schools system, I find that I am becoming fond of the kids in the lower grades.
I especially like the fact that they are very inquisitive and will try to find the answers to things that they know little about.
It is this "open-minded" state that sets them apart from some in high school; a 'love for learning' requires a motivational instructor.
I continue teaching the lower grades and the experience has been one of pleasant surprises- I hope to continue this in tutoring as well.

ESL/ESOL
|
Having come to this country at an early age and having had to learn the English language was a good experience for me.
Therefore I can help others to learn this wonderful and diverse language as well as draw on the other languages I know to help explain a particular meaning or where a certain word comes from.
I have taught Adult Education and many of my students have thanked me for helping them understand English better.
|
Korean
|
I was born in Korea and can speak and write this language fluently.
There are many things about this language(not unlike Spanish) that are different from English.
Since I have been actively involved with the Korean community, I can explain the customs and nuances of the language.
I also work occasionally as a translator.
|
religion
|
My study of the Bible has led me to find out about other religions and how people worship different gods.
I have had many years' experience in talking and sharing different points of view about this subject.
I have taken a college course on religion as well as read many books on the matter.

study skills
|
Study skills are quite important for many subjects because they help you to know how to "tackle" it(or them).
Many do not know how to begin or even if they do, how to study effectively(time-wise or other..) to retain what they've learned.
Although it will have to suit his or her particular style, all study methods are pretty similar.
Doing small lessons, participating in class(if you are in one), and reviewing at the proper time are all crucial.
But there's more- and I'll be happy to share it with you!
