I'm a Jamaican immigrant. I moved to the US at 18 years old when I got accepted to Mount Holyoke College (MHC) in Massachusetts. I graduated from MHC in 2002 with a BS in Biochemistry. I then went to Loyola University and graduated with a Master of Science in Microbiology. Right now i'm working for a start up Biotech company in Cambridge, MA. Prior to this I worked at Brigham and Women's hospital in a microbiology lab.
I am fantastic with kids and love helping them understand mathematics and science and hopefully getting them to love these subjects as much as I do. I'm really patient and I believe that practice makes perfect. My aim is to be sure that the concept of the subject is understood so that the student is totally prepared for anything that comes their way.
