If you were to ask me what the three most important skills were for teacher to have, I’d say talent for teaching would be third, knowledge of subject would be second, but relationship-building comes first.
My students love me, because I try to develop trusting relationships with an individual.
To keep my students loyal, I have to educate them, satisfy their needs, stand behind my words, and make that I do everything I say I'm going to do.
I wish my students did not feel like a toddler when they would be around native Russian-speakers. As a native speaker and years of teaching experience I can’t say I know what exactly students need to learn first, second, and last and how to teach them to start speaking fast, when I don’t know my students. I have to know them; I have to know how they can study, how they can remember, and how they can forget. Therefore, I try to teach everybody in person, because everybody is different and special.
I hold Ph.D. in education, specialization in Russian Language, in which I have got specialization at Moscow State University. I have a great experience of research in Russian language. My dissertation has contained a great deal of useful facts about Old Russian and Contemporary Russian languages. I was one of the authors of the “Complete Dictionary of the Siberian Dialect”, and I, among other authors, was awarded the Highest State Award “The Laureate of the State Prize of Russia”.
I also hold a M.A. D in Education, specialization in Classic Philology: Latin and Greek languages. I have been experienced in Latin, and I have got the special achievements in Latin teaching.
I am very passionate about what I do.
