elementary (k-6th) I been working on the elementary school level for three years and currently work with 6th grade in math and reading. I also tutor grade levels K-(group sessions and one-on-one TAKS tutoring). I currently hold an Instructional Certification in the state of Texas. GED I am qualified to tutor at the college readiness level.I graudated with academic recognition for writing on a level 4. I have sucessfully completed all writing and math classes at college level. phonics Working with special education students I have ample opportunity to teach phonics, not only to lower grade but upper grade levels as well. I experience with Saxon Phonics and other phonic resources. proofreading Proof reading is a part of all the writing assignments we perform in my 4th and 6th grade inclusion classes. I proof read writing assignments first afterwards the student and I will perform one-on-one proof reading of the assignment together. special needs I have been with special education/special needs children for three years. I work with learning disabled and mild MR students in grades 1st thru 6th. I also work with autistic and dyslexic students. This includes all subjects and test prep. I am also a test administrator for such students. study skills I am qualified to help elementary, secondary, and adult students with study skills. I can train with one-on-one sessions as to how to compose notes to the student's benefit. This also includes organizational skills to set students up for success in different subjects. This would include skills on how to keep up with assignments as well so the student does not fall behind.
