I am a Special Education teacher with plenty of experience tutoring struggling students as well as working with students who wish to excel in their classroom.
I graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology while also minoring in Statistics. The following year, I continued my eduction at Fordham University to obtain my Master's degree in Childhood Education. After a couple of years teaching Kindergarten and Second Grade, I enrolled in Rider University for my certification in Special Education.
While taking a variety of education classes, I worked in various settings from day cares, after school programs, tutoring agencies, and the classroom.
I am qualified to teach any Elementary subject, including study and organization skills and homework help. I also have experience teaching upper levels in Mathematics ranging Algebra to Calculus. In addition, I was hired by a Day Care to teach children as young as 3 years old how to read through the Hooked on Phonics program.
