Brian's Experience:
bass guitar
I have played the bass guitar for 5 years. I have recorded bass in a professional enviorment for the past two years. I am highly skilled at the instrument and can teach most styles that the student is interested in learning.
grammar
As I am currently applying to graduate school for philosophy, the quality of grammar and editing skills that are required to be accepted for any program are the highest of any discipline at the graduate level. I have written and edited my own creative papers for the past six years. My bachelor degrees in Political Science and Theology also augmented my grammar skills. I can teach the fundamentals and more advanced themes in English grammar.

guitar
I have been a guitarist for 12 years. I can play most styles a student would be interested in learning from rock, folk, jazz to blues. I have taught guitar before in college so I know exactly what are the best techniques for learning the instrument in an efficient manner.
music history
In college I took two classes in the History of Music that spanned the romantic classical antiquity to the most modern forms of pop music. I have been a songwriter and musician since I was twelve and often spent much of the time investigating the history of music. I have text books and cd's that will help in making the student understand the basic genealogy of how the music form has developed.

I was a double major in college. I majored in Political Science and Theology. I recieved my theology degree from Assumption College, a liberal arts catholic college in Worcester MA. I am well learned in western relegions, from Catholocism, to Protestantism, to even Mormonism as I had to take some comparative relegion classes. I will excell in teaching relegious conerns and questions that pertain to the modern world we live in.
