Growing up in a third world country and now living in a disadvantaged community, it was not hard to realize that education is often the only tool that you can take with you where ever life decides to take you. I realized from my experience that it defines who you are in more ways than one. All that aside, I finished high school in two years with a 3.6 GPA and enrolled in a four year college and currently have a GPA of 3.1. I am majoring in Biology and have a Minor in Chemistry. I am currently studying to take my MCAT’s in the following year to apply to Osteopathic and Allopathic schools. Right now I’m an EMT trainee and doing research with the Environmental Engineering Dept. of Manhattan College on the effects of Arsenic in Marine Amphipods. I have tutored high school students and college students and am looking to expand my experience of tutoring further.
