About Arielle:

My name is Arielle. I am completing my masters degree in Elementary Education at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I currently hold a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Children's Studies I have completed my student teaching at Mendham Township Elementary School in a second grade classroom and an extended internship in a Long Hill Township fourth grade classroom. I currently work as a director for Children's Technology Workshop. After six months of employment I was promoted from instructor to director because of my ability to learn, advance, and work with students. I teach students different forms of animation (move making), architecture, engineering and robotics (with Legos!), and video game creation. My duties include instructing the students in a whole group setting, as well as guiding the students in their independent work. As a director it is imperative that I am able to facilitate a positive, encouraging learning environment for the students. This position also requires that I maintain a professional report with both parents and staff. I also teach Kindergarten Enrichment to seventeen five year olds. It takes a warm heart along with a lot of patience but I love it. I teach art history, science, math, and bit of religion.
