I am a graduate of Hamilton College where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Comparative Literature and French. During my four years at this liberal arts institution, I tutored French and English composition to students of various years. I also served as a language tutor at an elementary school in Clinton, where I instructed fifth graders in the French language. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I went on to Penn State University for two years where I worked as a graduate assistant while I earned my Masters Degree in French. At Penn State, I served as an instructor for introductory and intermediate French courses for undergraduate students, tutored privately and maintained a 3.82 GPA.
I am capable of tutoring English, French, Italian, and SAT/ACT prep. In high school, I graduated 27th in a class of 632 and achieved a 3.63 GPA. I am and always have been a hard worker who is patient with each tutee and is extremely passionate about teaching. I love working one on one with students and getting them excited about learning and studying. I try to get the students engaged and excited about what they are learning, and this excitement produces great study habits and positive results! My approachable demeanor and friendly personality make me a great candidate for instructing.
