About
Juan: |
What can I say, I love Math. That was not the case in my early years though, I remember I used to hate it, and struggled quite a bit during my first year of High School. But I was fortunate to have two very dedicated aunts that were teachers; they took me under their wing and taught me how to make Math fun and easy to learn. Needless to say I did not struggle after that.
After High School, I went on to college at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (In Colombia, SA), with a major in Electronics Engineering. During my third year, I had the opportunity to move to the US and continue my education in Florida. In 1994, I transferred to Florida International University where I continued on with my major. I tutored at the Math department there for the better part of the two years that I attended, helping my fellow students in subjects ranging from Pre-Algebra all the way up to Calculus II.
After graduating, I started working as a Financial Analyst for a large corporation; if you've used and ATM, you know who I work for. The job is quite challenging and rewarding, but I just seem to have more free time that I know what to do with, and what better way to spend it than helping others grow to love Math as much as I do.
So, if you or someone you know is struggling with Math and would like some help, feel free to contact me.
Regards,
Juan S Correa |
