About Rachael:

Tutoring is one of my favorite things to do. I have worked with hundreds of children and adults of all ages, on subject matter ranging from 3rd grade reading to SAT Prep to college level calculus. Every single one of my students has seen an increase in test scores and/or GPA. I recognize that there are many reasons a student may be having difficulty with a given subject, so I have developed the ability to tailor my tutoring to each individual's needs. I present material in a clear, concise way and I can even make most tutorial sessions a little enjoyable. :) After a session with me, students leave feeling empowered and confident. My own background includes a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering and an associate's degree in theatre arts. That alone should tell you that both the right and left sides of my brain are constantly working! I look forward to working with either you or your child, and I am sure you will be satisfied!
