My name is Misty,
I am 27 years old, have been married for three years. My husband and I have a two-year old daughter, three dogs, two birds a cat and a pony.
I work full-time in a professional environment and I am a part-time college student. I have a veterinary assisting degree from my magnet High School where I graduated with a 3.6 G.P.A. I currently have my A.A. in Business and have started my Junior year at the University of South Florida in Business Management.
I have two years experience in tutoring English/Grammar to college students and 1 year of working with Learning Disabled children of all ages in a private school. I absolutely adored that job, but the work ended for the summer and I needed to find another job. I do have references from my employer at the school.
And my current employer if requested.
I also have experience in teaching beginning horseback riding and care/maintenance.

Before I had my daughter I was a teacher assistant for a private school that catered to learning disabled students. I had children who ranged in age from 7-13. I was in charge of giving them help and instruction on: Math, English, Critical Thinking Skills, Reading, Writing, Spelling, Vocabulary and Phonics.
Being learning disabled myself; I have the knowledge and experience to help a wide range of students with every aspect of their schooling and education.

horseback riding

I have been working with horses for the past 15 years.
I would in no way say that I am an expert horseman, but I am knowledgeable enough to give beginner lessons.
I have given lessons to a variety of people of all ages. I am kind yet firm which is a necessity when working with horses and people.
I had a young lady who fell off her horse and broke her arm, she was terrified to ride when her arm healed. I convinced her that it would be ok, and now she is an adult running barrels.
I have Western Pleasure experience as well as Halter and a modicum of English. I am a licensed vet assistant and completed my clinicals at my trainer's breeding farm.
