About
Roger: |
|
I am 22 years old and just moved to Chicago to begin law school at the University of Chicago in the fall. I enjoy teaching and tutored students throughout undergrad. I have engaging personality and am flexible with what type of teaching helps students learn the most effectively.
I went to high school in Springfield, IL and graduated first in my class with a 4.0 GPA. I scored a 34 on the ACT, and know the test very well. I did not take the SAT in high school, but have familiarized myself with the test and can teach the math section with confidence and clarity.
I recently graduated Cum Laude from Rice University in Houston, TX with a 3.8 GPA and honors in my major. I scored a 176 (99.6 %) on the LSAT. I truly enjoy teaching the LSAT and have mastered every section of the exam. I have helped multiple people prepare for this exam with great results. I took the exam twice and greatly increased my score the second time so I personally know how to dramatically improve one's score.
I am easy going and relaxed, yet take academics and learning very seriously. I look forward to helping you learn. |

I have experience teaching young children in all subjects. I have tutored all subjects and feel confident teaching young children clearly and using a variety of methods to suit how the child learns most effectively. I have also worked with children in my mother's first grade classroom as well as at children sports camps.
I would enjoy helping your child learn whether they need help catching up or just want to stay ahead. Feel free to contact me if your child would like an easy-going, friendly, yet serious tutor to help them learn.

LSAT
|
I have spent many months of my life dedicated to mastering the LSAT. I took a prep course with a normal test prep company and found it not to be beneficial. I received a 163 the first time I took the LSAT. I than devised my own study methods and was able to improve my score to a 176 the second time I took the exam.
Due to my personal experiences with the LSAT, I know how to dramatically improve one's score. I feel I can clearly teach the methods that allowed me to score well on the test to people of any skill level, and can help individuals form a specific studying regiment to help them focus on their weaknesses and improve on them. I have helped multiple friends do this exact thing and they have been very successful on the LSAT.
Although an extremely difficult exam, I am confident anyone can do well on the LSAT with the correct preparation methods and hard work. I enjoy the LSAT very much and hope to able to help people have a similar testing experience to the one that I had.
