My name is Michael and I am a junior at Emory University. I have extensive experience tutoring math including 2.5 years of Geometry, 2 years of Algebra 2, and one year of Statistics. I received an 800/800 on the SAT math section and have tutored students in SAT prep. I have also tutored Physics for two years. I tutor through working with students on assignments to assess understanding, correct mistakes, and ensure the learning of underlying concepts. Depending on the student's proficiency on a given topic, I can adjust between teaching from the basics to perfecting their methods.I am in town for the school semesters and plan to be in town next summer as well. My availability may change semester to semester and I will update it as soon as possible.

  I took AP Statistics in high school and received an A and a 4 on the AP Statistics exam. I also have taken a college course at Emory University in Probability and Statistics in which I received an A. I have tutored one-on-one in Statistics for one year with a dramatic improvement in understanding for the student, which translated into much better grades.

  My daughter has never felt so accomplished or done so well in any math endeavor. She missed most of the 2nd semester of Geometry in 9th grade and is doing summer school on line.
