I'm fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, and English. Mandarin and Korean are my native tongue. Having lived in 4 different countries, I've been a language student all my life. As I learned different languages and adapted to new cultures, I developed my own ideas of how to learn a new language. During tutoring, I share my language learning experiences and tips with my students. I'm a USC alumnus with a B.S in Public Administration and a minor degree in Chinese. I've also received a second bachelors degree in Holistic Medicine and Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Currently, I'm pursuing a second Masters in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.
My teaching experience includes private tutoring in Math and Chinese, afterschool tutoring through Americorps/YMCA, and teaching a summer ESL program in Taiwan.
My teaching style is generally fun and interactive. I customize the teaching style based on the student's pace and personality.
