Greetings...
I currently work as Program Associate for the Trade and Sustainable Development program of a non-profit international environmental organization in Washington, DC. My non-teaching experience includes working as Associate Editor for an environmental publication at the World Bank, and as Research Assistant at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
My teaching experience includes working for two years as Teaching Assistant for the Political Science department at Syracuse University, where I offered lectures for courses on U.S. government, U.S. Foreign Policy, and U.S. Technology, Environment and Resource Policy. Prior to that experience, I have worked for 3 years as a substitute teacher in Northern Illinois, and have worked at Sylvan Learning Centers, both in Illinois and in New York.
I have received an M.A. in Political Science from Syracuse University. I have completed a B.A. (Russian Studies, Political Science, and Spanish), and a M.A. (History) from Northern Illinois University. In addition, I have language skills in Greek, Russian, Spanish and French (to varying degrees of proficiency).
I have worked with students of all ages.
I am available evenings on weekdays, and my weekends are flexible. I look forwarding to learning about your interests and how we can work together!
