I have also taught voice through an internship with the Metropolitan Opera Guild. In my spare time, I play piano/organ at various NYC churches, and freelance as a classical singer.   I have a MM in Music Theory and voice performance from Mannes College of Music, where I have been on the faculty there since 2004. I have been teaching private lessons in voice, theory and piano for over ten years; in addition, I am on faculty at Mannes as a teacher of theory and ear training. I was a teaching/artist intern with the Metropolitan Opera Guild for two years, teaching voice to NYC high school students. I also freelance as a classical singer and have sung in Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall. I hold an ARCT in piano performance from the Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music and was the organist/choir director at the Church of the Redeemer in Brooklyn.
