About
Kateri: |
|
I am a multi-tasking individual with grounded organizational skills; I am an actress who also works as a professional musician and dancer. I have recently finished my work for my Masters Degree in Music Performance & Research in London. I obtained my BA (English Literature; Shakespeare focus) and BM (Renaissance and Baroque Music) previously. As a multi-disciplined artist and researcher who self-manages, I am adept at juggling schedules and effectively interacting with a wide range of personalities and situations.
I teach dance, music, and coach theatre privately in addition to coaching ensembles in all three disciplines. My tutoring extends to English/Humanities related fields (reading, writing, proofreading, researching, public-speaking, presentation, style, etc.).
I often incorporate my musical and physical abilities and find this not only enhances my work, but also provides me with a wide range of perspectives from which I can draw and create.
I look forward to speaking with you in the near future and would be more than happy to forward any further information you might require.

study skills
|
Managing to complete two Bachelor's Degrees at two separate schools of highly competitive status (Johns Hopkins and Peabody Conservatory; average 35.5 credits a semester instead of the usual 12-18) while working as a freelance performer required absolute diligence and an unbelievable amount of schedule juggling, compromise, and prioritizing. My study skills have always afforded me results and I have enjoyed passing these on to those with whom I work.
