I am a motivated and energetic college student planning to become a teacher in the future with a considerable amount of educational experience as a home-school teacher, assistant coach, and camp counselor. I scored highly on a number of standardized tests in high school including the SAT (710 Math, 690 verbal), AP European History (5), AP Writing (5), Biology SAT II (710), Math SAT IIC (690), and the PSAT, on which I received a perfect verbal score allowing me to become a National Merit Scholarship Winner. I've worked as a home-school teacher for my sister, providing her with a semester long 8th grade curriculum education. I'd like to help middle and high school students of all backgrounds and academic level achieve their fullest potential and am highly capable in tutoring for standardized tests as well as a number of subjects, particularly Social Studies, English, and Science. It is my hope to not only bring success to every student I work with, but also show him or her potential and capabilities that he or she may not yet even be aware of.
