  • Excellent Tutor! Thoughtful and Very Knowledgeable

    My daughter is struggling in pre-calculus. She had her first lesson with Krishna today, and it is already apparent that he is exactly the kind of tutor I was hoping to find! He listened carefully to my description of her strengths (languages and music), which I mentioned in the hopes that it would help him deduce the best way to speak with her about math. He was able to make her laugh and even came up with a metaphor to relate her love of music to what they were working on. Krishna was also very well prepared. He brought her 4 pages of summary material that he described as essential basic knowledge for doing well in pre-calculus, and explained how she should incorporate remembering it into her studying strategy. At the end of the lesson he told her that she is not as weak in this subject as she thinks she is, essentially diagnosing confidence as one issue that could be holding her back. This went a long way in making her feel good about herself and her potential to improve if she applies herself. If your child is struggling in math, I highly recommend that you consider hiring Krishna as a tutor!
