About
Chasity: |
|
I am a military spouse and a mother of two. I have my BA degree in Psychology and Sociology. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, spending time with my family, and shopping. I am currently a substitute teacher within my local school district. I have experience at all grade levels, including ESE. I enjoy working with children of all ages. When I am not teaching, I am a camp counselor during the summer months. I have been tutoring for the past five years and really enjoy what I do. I believe that the key to any good education is parent involvement, organizational skills, and great study skills. The education of our children should not rest solely on the shoulders of the teachers. Teaching does not stop once our children leave the school house. It is a continuous process that follows us for the rest of our lives. |

I have my degree in psychology and sociology. I am currently have my temporary teaching certification in social studies. I have been a substitute teaching for the past two years. When I decided I wanted to teach for a living, I knew I needed to prepare myself my going into all grade levels and obtaining the experiences that would allow me to work at all grade levels. This job has given me the opportunity to decide at which grade level I would like to teach at before going into the classroom.
Helping others achieve academic success is something I find exciting to me. I enjoy working with all age groups from pre-school to adults. I believe that a good education will not only set you apart from others, but give you the confidence you need to go out and achieve everything your heart desires. Education is my passion and I love what I do. For most individuals, taking test is not at the top of their list of things they enjoy. However, with both preparation and study skills, the anxiety that comes with taking tests will no longer be a problem.
