About Richard:

I am a retired physician who also has a Ph.D. in pharmacology and was a Biology major in college. During the past thirty years I have experience teaching students in Middle School and High School, adult education, college students and medical students. Our biology helps to make us who we are and what we are, just as the biology of other organisms helps to define them. My teaching approach is to use encouragement and patience in working with students to help them to master all of the skills they need to understand and succeed in their study of biology. Lets work together to unlock the mysteries of biology and learn to appreciate and enjoy this important area.
